    • Acceleration: Yes
    • Deceleration: No
    • Ricing: Yes
    • Separation: No
    • Discoloration: No
    • Scent Retention: 3/5, Just Right
    • Suggested Techniques: Layered designs - sets up very quickly
    • Behavior Notes: Tested at 4.45%. A bit difficult to work with, due to acceleration and minor ricing. Scent retention is amazing, which makes it worth it!

Tested by Mason and Mason Handmade. Testing method: oils and lye water between 95-100 degrees. 2:1 water:lye ratio, 5% superfat. 55% hard oils (coconut, palm, shea) and 45% soft oils (olive, sweet almond, castor) plus sodium lactate. Blended oils to emulsion, then separated out into three pitchers, hand-stirred oil-dispersed mica into each pitcher. For each layer, hand-stirred FO quickly, then poured immediately. Each layer took only a few minutes to set up. Covered and rested in warm oven overnight.

    • Acceleration: Yes
    • Deceleration: No
    • Ricing: Yes
    • Separation: No
    • Discoloration: No
    • Behavior Notes: Tested at 3%. Accelerated batter to a medium trace and lightly riced, causing a strange texture. However, still remained manageable for a bit. Discolored to a light cream color and has an excellent scent retention in cured bars.

Tested by Creamy Obsession Soap. The testing recipe consisted of olive oil, coconut oil, lard, sunflower oil, castor oil, shea butter, mango butter, and cocoa butter. A 1.8:1 water to lye ratio was used, as well as a 5% superfat. All tests were conducted at room temperature, with a range of 85°F to 95°F Every small batch was brought to an emulsion, and then the fragrances were stirred in by hand and watched over a period of time while comparing to an unscented control poured from the same batch. After setting up, the bars were then CPOP’ed in their individual silicone molds in the oven at 170°F for 5 minutes to ensure a full gel. Separate popsicle sticks and pipettes were used for each individual fragrance to avoid any cross contamination.

    • Acceleration: None
    • Separation: Riced
    • Discoloration: None
    • Behavior Notes: Initial mild ricing that mixed out easily, and then the batter stayed at a creamy light-medium trace for a long time
    • Scent strength: Moderately light at 2.0%, recommend 3.0-4.0%

Cold process testing done by @elysianacres at temperatures between 75-85 °F, brought batter to emulsification before hand-stirring in fragrance, using 10% Castor Oil, 20% Coconut Oil, 35% Olive OIl Pomace, 35% Lard, Distilled water Lye solution at 33%, 5% Superfat

    Used in cold process

I used this one in my new cold process fairy door soap! It came out great and I really didn’t have any issues with the scent at all. I did experience the smallest amount of ricing but it was pretty negligible honestly. It was very easy to work with! The smell is great, too! Very green and pleasing.

    I used around 4%

    Green Floral

Green Ivy is a strong, green, and fresh floral fragrance. While it isn't my personal favorite, I know a few people who'd argue otherwise, and it seems to be a good seller. It's phenomenal in soy candles! I do wish it'd behave better it cp soap, as it does rice and accelerate, but I'd absolutely order it again.
