What animal-derived ingredients might be found in fragrance oils?
Some fragrance materials have historically been sourced from animals — including musk (from musk deer), civet (from civet cats), castoreum (from beavers), and ambergris (from sperm whales). All of these are now primarily replaced by synthetic equivalents. Stock Fragrance does not use any animal-sourced materials in its fragrance oils.
Is the Animal Origin Statement the same as a Vegan Statement?
