    Great scent - seizes!

This is a lovely, rich, masculine scent! Out of the bottle it’s more warm and vanilla-y but in the soap I can smell the Vetiver and the leather. It’s manly. It did seize though. You have about 5 seconds to pour. I made it work though by leave some of the batter unscented so that it would fill around the embeds properly. I used less than 1oz in around 2oz of soap. The smell is VERY strong!

    Follow up review

I didn't see an option to edit my previous review so posting a follow-up.

While the soap pattern didn't go to plan because of the acceleration, the resulting bars are just lovely. Men and women who've I've gifted this soap to love the scent. The batter accelerated so quickly that I didn't have a chance to add colorant. The resulting bars have turned a medium-dark purple-tan. Quite a pretty color, actually.

Since this review, I've used several FOs from Stock Fragrance and have been incredibly pleased with all of them. I've reordered this fragrance again and will give it another go.

I didn't want my previous 3-star review to put off people interested in this scent. It's slightly sweet and has a freshly sawn wood smell without being lumber-jacky. It's positively lovely.

Love the scent, hate the acceleration

Really lovely fragrance, unique and pleasant, woody but also aromatic. Of all of the vials I ordered, I was most excited about this one.

Sadly it caused my first-ever soap-on-a-stick incident. I'm a new soaper, but I was using a reliable recipe at a low temp as I wanted an intricate design. I ended up grabbing the seized batter by hand and shoving it into the mold to try and make something useful from it. This was my first go using a fragrance from Stock, and, I'm now hesitant to waste another batch. I might try one more before giving up, or I might try to create a recipe that works for a fragrance that misbehaves so badly. Not sure yet what to do.
