      Mellows out in cold process soap

      When you first smell this, it may seem sharp to you. After blending it in soap and allowing the soap to sit, however, it imparts a soft fruity scent. I used apple seed oil and honey in my cold process recipe. It did not seem to increase tracing when I worked with it.

      Clean apple scent

      I was pleasantly surprised to find a plant-based apple scent that really smells like apples. The scent is not too strong or artificial and works wonderfully in my candles.

      Cold throw vs. Hot throw

      I’m still not exactly sure what to think about this fragrance. When you first smell it in the bottle or in a candle before it’s lit it smells very cinnamony and you can’t smell any apple scent. However, after you light it it does smell like apples and you don’t get so much of that spice which is so crazy to me. I like both smells either way, but I just wish it was stronger because it doesn’t even fill my bedroom with the hot throw.

      Used for Candle

      I did a test burn with this scent, and wanted to use it. As I did enjoy the scent. But the CT and HT were too light and I used 10% to start with. I’ve only done 2 burns with it, and will continue to test. I’ll change my review if anything changes.

      Fresh and Sophisticated

      This scent is quite nice and sophisticated—but not very apple-like. It is very herbal or spicy, with subtle apple undertones. I will say the scent is quite true to the sample card. I was hoping the apple would be stronger once I got it into my product (personal care)
