- We do not restrict ingredients because of color, so some of our oils have natural tint. In addition, we do not use BHT, a common UV stabilizer, in any of our formulations. BHT is a known endocrine disrupter and is currently banned in the EU, Australia, Canada and Japan, but not in the US! As such, some of our oils might darken over time - this is totally normal and natural and will NOT affect the character or performance of the fragrance.

Cold process testing done by @elysianacres at temperatures between 75-85 °F, brought batter to emulsification before hand-stirring in fragrance, using 10% Castor Oil, 20% Coconut Oil, 35% Olive OIl Pomace, 35% Lard, Distilled water Lye solution at 33%, 5% Superfat

The fragrance smells ok but I didn’t expect it to have a spicy smell which I didn’t like. The sample wasn’t available to purchase but I should have waited to get a 1oz bottle as the smelling card smelt better
SFStock Fragrance1 month agoHi Elizabeth sorry to hear this isn't what you were expecting. The smelling card and the oil are the same just at different levels. Just curious if you tried the oil in product? We typically do not recommend evaluating our oils out of bottle as they are too concentrated and can (often) distort the character of the fragrance. TBH, there is not a single fragrance from this company that I don’t think is divine. And Summer Apple is no exception!
If you are expecting a blast of apple like you might get from a less complex FO - you would be surprised. This is like a walk in an apple orchard, with the floral scent of apple blossoms mixing in the breeze with the fresh, bright scent of the fruit woven throughout without dominating the entire fragrance.

I was worried this would smell sweet rotten apple that is so common with “apple” fragrances, but this is perfect. Best apple fragrance around!

I can't get over how fresh this apple smells. It's not overly sweet, just perfectly balanced, fresh and realistic! All alone it is the perfect summer scent, and I want to try mixing it with a fall spice blend for an incredible autumn scent.
I used it in CP soap, and it got pretty thick very quickly, but stayed at a nice thick trace without seizing for a good amount of time.
