SMELLING SAMPLE SET

I may not have enjoyed every scent, but I sure did appreciate the selection! I have found a few that I will be using for my new candle making hobby. The packaging was superb and the fragrances very true to descriptions. Stock Fragrances are now at the top of my list! Maybe someday I’ll even splurge and get the Bespoke Package. It would be so fun to have my own signature scent!

Overall, every fragrance felt well-developed and unique. Some have notes that have the same accord, almost to a "T," but the full effect with the other notes stands on its own. Some that I thought I would like I ended up not liking so much, BUT some that I would have passed over I found I really liked and I would have missed them without the samples. Will definitely be making a better aligned purchase after smelling the samples. Many have musk base notes, which of course tend to overpower in high-concentration tests, but that's why we train our noses--just be prepared. Scent strength is strong to med-strong, but it's unclear how much fragrance was used on each sample. And the stronger the base fragrance, the less product needed.

As many have said, each individual business-card-sized scent sample is in a sealed wrapper that is NOT resealable. For a longer testing experience without losing fragrance, I used cheap generic zip-closure sandwich bags that were a couple bucks; not crazy about the additional plastic, but it is what it is. Fragrance does permiate the plastic a bit, but it does not meld with other testers and the goal is extending scent retention for a couple of days, and this method worked very well for me.
