We work with a specialized manufacturing partner who performs biodegradable microencapsulation exclusively for Stock Fragrance formulas. We do not encapsulate third-party fragrances. Encapsulation is available by special order only and is subject to production minimums.
Microencapsulation for fragrance is an advanced, non-toxic technology in which fragrance molecules are enclosed inside a biodegradable shell. This protects the fragrance from evaporation and degradation, improves stability, and enables gradual scent release when activated by rubbing, warmth, or moisture.
How Microencapsulation Works
Encapsulation creates a protective barrier around each fragrance particle. This barrier prevents early evaporation and shields the fragrance from oxidative and environmental stress. When the microcapsules experience friction or movement, the shell breaks and releases fresh fragrance at the moment of use.
