We do not restrict ingredients because of color, so some of our oils have natural tint. In addition, we do not use BHT, a common UV stabilizer, in any of our formulations. BHT is a known endocrine disrupter and is currently banned in the EU, Australia, Canada and Japan, but not in the US! As such, some of our oils might darken over time - this is totally normal and natural and will NOT affect the character or performance of the fragrance.

Behavior Notes: Tested at 3%. Behaved very well in my soap, experienced no issues whatsoever. It moved at the same rate as my unscented control, getting just a tad thicker towards the end of my pour. Bars discolored to a light peachy oat color and have a very potent scent retention post cure!
Tested by Creamy Obsession Soap. The testing recipe consisted of olive oil, coconut oil, lard, sunflower oil, castor oil, shea butter, mango butter, and cocoa butter. A 1.8:1 water to lye ratio was used, as well as a 5% superfat. All tests were conducted at room temperature, with a range of 85°F to 95°F Every small batch was brought to an emulsion, and then the fragrances were stirred in by hand and watched over a period of time while comparing to an unscented control poured from the same batch. After setting up, the bars were then CPOP’ed in their individual silicone molds in the oven at 170°F for 5 minutes to ensure a full gel. Separate popsicle sticks and pipettes were used for each individual fragrance to avoid any cross contamination.
I recently made a test candle with this fragrance and let me tell you, It is heavenly. I wasn't expecting it to have much of a hot throw, but it definitely did. I only made a 6oz tester and it smelled my bedroom and travelled through the hall .I was shocked. I cant wait to make a larger candle with it and share it with the world. I have been hesitant about starting my little handmade creations but with fragrances like this. I have to share it with others .I can smell the figs and the clovers .It is wonderful.
